SPOKANE INDIANS 8K PENNANT RACE
Spokane, WA - The Spokane Indians & Runner's Soul, are teaming up for the annual Spokane Indians 8K Pennant Race and 1K Kids Run benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane . The eight kilometer race will take place on the beautiful Centennial Trail in downtown Spokane, starting and finishing near the carousel in Riverfront Park. Supporting sponsors for this event include KREM 2-TV, KIX 96 FM, Out There Monthly, Glen Dow Academy, and McDonald's.
The Spokane Indians 8K Pennant Race and 1K Kids Run presented by Runner's Soulwill take place on Saturday, July 24th at 8:00 a.m. Registration fee for the 8K Pennant Race presented by Runner's Soul is $30 dollars for adults and only $5 dollars for kids. Participants will receive a Brooks Technical short sleeve shirt, a ticket to the Spokane Indians Baseball game that night versus the Tri-City Dust Devils and a donation in their name to the Spokane Ronald McDonald House.
Runners age 10 and under can get in the action too with the 1K Kids Run. Kids will join OTTO the Mascot for a one kilometer run through Riverfront Park and will receive a goodie bag and a ticket to the Indians game that night versus the Tri-City Dust Devils. After the 1K Kids Run, young participants will be greeted with clowns, balloons, a jump castle, OTTO the Mascot, and a special visit from Ronald McDonald.
Deadline to register is July 16th. Late registration is $35 and runners have until 7:30 a.m. on the morning of the race. Registered participants can pick their packets up at Runner's Soul in downtown Spokane on Friday, July 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on race morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at the Carousel in Riverfront Park.
