Dear Ronald McDonald House,

Our son, Lucas, was born at Deaconess weighing only one pound 13 ounces. My husband was finishing his final semester at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, ID and we were very desperate about what to do.

I didn't want to leave Lucas but also couldn't afford to stay in a motel for what we knew would be a long stay.

Over the past two years everyone who hears Luke's story says "I don't know how you made it." I do.. it was through the love and prayers that were shown from the staff at the Ronald McDonald House, Deaconess and our friends and family.

Words can never express how much you did for us during those two months.
